DBSilk is a free, public directory of AI-powered tools for working with databases. By using DBSilk, you agree to these terms.

What DBSilk is

DBSilk is an editorial directory. We collect, organise, and describe products that other companies build. Each listing is our summary of what a product does, who it’s for, and how it’s priced. We do not sell, host, or operate the products themselves.

Use of the site

You may browse, link to, and quote DBSilk listings for non-commercial use, with attribution. You may not:

• Scrape the site at a rate that affects other users or our hosting bill
• Republish substantial portions of our editorial content as if you wrote it
• Misrepresent DBSilk as the maker of a listed product
• Use DBSilk to send spam, malware, or anything illegal

We may rate-limit, block, or remove access to anyone who breaks these rules.

Vendor submissions

If you submit a product through our “Add Product” form, you confirm that you have the right to do so on behalf of the product’s owner and that the information you provide is accurate. By submitting, you grant DBSilk a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, and display that information in the directory and in related editorial work.

We review every submission. We may:

• Edit submissions for clarity, accuracy, or house style
• Decline submissions that are misleading, abusive, or out of scope
• Remove or update listings if facts change or we receive credible complaints

We do not guarantee that submitted products will be listed, ranked in any particular place, or kept indefinitely.

Editorial independence

DBSilk’s editorial team decides what gets listed and how it’s described. Vendors do not pay for inclusion. Featured or sponsored placements (when offered) are clearly labelled as such and do not change our editorial assessment of the product.

Third-party products and links

DBSilk links to and describes products built and operated by third parties. We do our best to keep listings accurate, but:

• We do not warrant that any listed product is fit for your purpose, secure, compliant with your regulations, or free of defects
• Pricing, features, and availability change frequently — confirm current details with the vendor before purchasing
• DBSilk has no control over external sites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms

Use third-party products at your own risk and on the vendor’s own terms.

No warranty

DBSilk is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DBSilk and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the site or any product you find through it. Our total liability for any claim related to DBSilk is limited to USD 100.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes take effect when we update the “Last updated” date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located there.
